At Opal, it is our culture to maintain the highest level of Sterilization. Equipped with quality equipment and infrastructure, we strive to achieve a top-notch level of infection control:
All used instruments are soaked in an antiseptic solution for a minimum of 30 minutes, scrubbed and cleaned under running water and a cleansing solution.
The instruments are then cleansed in an Ultrasonic Cleaner (high frequency vibrations) with a disinfectant to remove any debris accumulated on it. They are dried and sealed in separate pouches, which are sealed by heat pressing (Sterile Wraps).
The instruments are Sterilized in ‘B-class’ Autoclave (high temperature disinfection) to ensure 100% sterilization.
The Sterile Wraps are coded to indicate the batch of sterilization and stored away in U.V. Light storage cabinets, which are removed only when needed.

Scheduled fumigation of the entire clinic premise with a unique anti-microbial surface sanitizer.
ULTRAVIOLET STERILIZATION
U.V. light is highly effective in killing germs and disinfecting dental tools, surfaces, and other items without toxic chemicals.
PATIENT AND EMPLOYEE SCREENING
Every individual entering the clinic premise is checked for symptoms and a temperature check carried out.
TELE-DENTISTRY
Virtual appointments are now available from your phone, tablet or desktop.
AIR IONIZATION
The air ionizer discharges negative ions into the air, which neutralizes any air borne microbes & spores.
HEIGHTENED CLEANING & SAFETY STANDARDS
Spray. Scrub. Wipe. Repeat! Deep cleaning is carried out before, during and after patient visits, many times a day to ensure 100% safety. Considering the proximity of the Patient and Doctor, adorning PPE kits is necessary to prevent any contamination.
SOCIAL DISTANCING
With systematic time management, appointments will be well spaced to minimise waiting time and avoiding overlapping of appointments. A designated area is available for donning and doffing of PPEs with safe disposal practices in place.
